Technical Architect - Public Cloud (m/w/d) (Cloud Native Node.js & AI-enabled Product)

About the role

Your mission As a Technical Architect - Public Cloud, you will be responsible for the technical design of our cloud-native product line based on modern Node.js architectures. You will design a scalable, AI-integrated platform architecture and ensure that our public cloud products are high-performance, modular and future-proof. Your responsibility Cloud-native architecture Design of microservices architectures API-first and event-driven architecture concepts Define service boundaries, data flows, and integration patterns Ensuring multi-tenant capability AI integration in the product Technical architecture for AI features in the product Integration of LLMs or AI services within defined guardrails Performance and cost optimization of AI-driven features DevOps & Deployment Architecture Collaborate with Infrastructure and Deployment Engineers Architecture Design for Containerization and Cloud Deployment Design-Governance Creation of HLD, SDD and TDD up to Epic level Technical review and approval responsibility in the Architecture Board Organizational classification - Embedded in the engineering function- Principal level- Part of the architecture board- Operates within the guardrails defined by the Enterprise Architect Your profile Several years of experience as an architect in cloud-native environments- Very good knowledge of Node.js- Experience with microservices and API architectures- Strong understanding of event-driven systems - Experience with AI integration in software products- Cloud architecture experience (containers, orchestration, scaling)- High technical credibility with senior engineers Technology Stack SAP Platform & Extensions SAP BTP, SAP CAP (Node.js/CDS), S/4HANA Public Cloud Side-by-Side Extensions, Clean Core OData APIs Integration & Events SAP Business Events, Event Mesh, Event-Driven Architecture Data & KI HANA Cloud (HDI, Vector Engine), Generative AI / SAP AI Core, RAG, LLM-Integration, LangChain / LangGraph Infrastructure & Security Multi-Tenant Architecture, Cloud Foundry / Kyma, XSUAA / IAS / IPS, CI/CD (SAP)
