Getting Started
How do I post a job on Hiro?
Create an employer account, choose a plan, and fill out your job details. Your listing goes live immediately and is shown to relevant candidates via our AI matching engine.
What information do I need to post a job?
You'll need a job title, description, location (or remote designation), salary range, required skills, and your company details. The more detail you provide, the better our AI can match you with qualified candidates.
How long does it take for my job to go live?
Jobs go live immediately after posting. Candidates will start seeing your listing in their matches right away.
Plans & Billing
What plans are available?
We offer three plans: Single Post ($49 one-time) for a single hire, Starter ($99/mo) with 3 active posts, and Growth ($199/mo) with 10 active posts, featured badges, and full analytics. All plans include AI-matched candidates.
What's the difference between Single, Starter, and Growth plans?
Single Post is a one-time $49 purchase for a single job listing that stays active for 30 days. Starter ($99/mo) gives you 3 active posts, basic analytics, and standard review tools. Growth ($199/mo) unlocks everything: 10 active posts, discovery mode for browsing passive candidates, interest signals, team collaboration with unlimited seats, full pipeline analytics, and priority support. Single is best for one-off hires, Starter for small recurring needs, and Growth for serious hiring teams.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your employer dashboard. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
Do you offer refunds?
Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Single posts are non-refundable once published, but you can contact support if your post hasn't received any views.
How does billing work?
Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing cycle through Stripe. You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view invoices from your employer dashboard.
Candidates & Applications
How does AI matching work?
Our matching engine scores candidates based on skill overlap, role fit, location compatibility, salary alignment, and other factors. You receive applications from candidates who are genuinely interested and qualified for your role.
How does candidate scoring work?
Every applicant gets a 0 to 100 fit score for your specific role. We weigh skill overlap against your must-haves and nice-to-haves, years of experience relative to the seniority you specified, location compatibility, salary alignment, and visa sponsorship status. Scores above 80 are strong matches. You can click any fit badge to see the exact breakdown by category, which is useful when justifying hiring decisions to your team.
What is discovery mode?
Discovery mode (Growth plan only) lets you proactively search candidates who have not applied to any of your jobs yet. Filter by skills, experience, location, salary expectations, and availability. You see a blurred preview with their skills, experience, and headline but not name or contact info. When you find someone you like, send an interest signal. If they accept, you get their contact info and they enter your pipeline.
How do hiring rounds work?
Hiring rounds let you structure a review process to narrow a large applicant pool step by step. Set target counts for each round (for example 50 to 20 to 8 to 3) and Hiro tracks who has advanced. Right swipes in round one move candidates to round two, and so on. You can name rounds (Screening, Technical, Onsite) and revive rejected candidates if you change your mind.
Can I invite team members?
Yes, on the Growth plan you can invite unlimited team members from /employers/team. Assign each person a role: Admin (full access), Recruiter (post jobs and review candidates), or Viewer (read-only). Team members can comment on candidates, vote thumbs up or down, and each action is tracked per user so you always know who did what.
How do I schedule interviews?
From any candidate's profile, click Schedule Interview. Pick a date, time, interview type (phone, video, onsite), and duration. For video interviews, paste your Zoom or Google Meet link. The candidate gets an email with the details and a calendar invite, and both sides get automatic reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before. Rescheduling is one click from your dashboard.
Can I see who applied?
Yes. Your employer dashboard shows every application, including candidate profiles and match scores. Growth plan users get full analytics on views, clicks, and conversion rates.
Can I contact candidates directly?
When a candidate applies through Hiro, you receive their application details including their profile information. You can reach out to them directly from there.
Managing Listings
Can I edit a job after posting?
Yes. You can edit job details, update requirements, or change the description at any time from your employer dashboard. Changes are reflected immediately.
Can I deactivate or remove a listing?
Absolutely. You can deactivate a listing at any time from your dashboard. Deactivated listings stop appearing in candidate matches but are kept in your history for reference.
How long do listings stay active?
Single Post listings stay active for 30 days. Starter and Growth plan listings stay active for as long as your subscription is active.
