Your New Role Develop long-term and near-term financial plans, partnering with relevant functional areas to articulate business priorities and financial plans to execute against those priorities. Deliver accurate financial reporting metrics by analysing financial data, performing complex data entry, verifying accuracy and collaborating with senior leadership as needed. Assist Finance Business Partners in developing and executing strategies to help achieve the goals and objectives of the departments/towers. Prepare and maintain the budgeting and forecasting tool for assigned line(s) of business. Prepare regular reports including KPI and dashboard reporting , recommendations, and interpretations to the leadership group based on financial and operating data and variances in the budget. Ensure compliance with existing policies, procedures and relevant regulations/legislations. Maintain an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives. Assist in the financial analysis of feasibility of projects as well as benefits realised from key initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. Provide visible leadership, effective communication, and feedback to the team. About You Significant experience in an accounting/planning and analysis role, with preference for MI system implementation. Exposure to insurance business and regional roles. Experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to AIFRS being advantageous. Preference for work experience in consulting and/or financial planning and analysis, as well as in a shared service environment. Professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a finance role, with increasing levels of responsibility. Proven experience of consistent and constructive people management capabilities.
