Your Role Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader, the analyst as a key member will support data acquisition, transfer, and consolidation and in addition, is responsible for data quality and integrity of the data systems. This position requires advanced computer skills, attention to detail, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. This role requires the candidate to work a night shift starting 4.30 pm - 1.30 am. The Experience You Bring Demonstrated expertise in the Asset Management industry, with a strong understanding of investment products and portfolio management processes. Solid knowledge of global markets, including market trends, benchmarks, and risk-return dynamics. Skilled in performance measurement and calculations, ensuring accurate evaluation of portfolio returns against benchmarks. Working knowledge of performance attribution methodologies to analyze sources of return and risk. Proficient in reporting and data interpretation, delivering clear and actionable insights for stakeholders. Work Experience / Knowledge 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking, or Management industries. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of performance measurement and stay current with regulatory and industry standards. Prepare, interpret, and investigate discrepancies in attribution and contribution reports used for performance analysis. Assist in constructing and maintaining composites in accordance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) for assigned portfolios and strategies. Ensure performance data is presented accurately and comprehensively across senior management reports, third-party databases, sales materials, and regulatory filings. Proficient in reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, with working knowledge of R, Python, and SQL. Skills & Attributes A friendly professional demeanour and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment. Self-driven and shows strong self-initiative to meet deliverables and overcome issues. Critical Thinking - ability to look at data and trends and come to new conclusions based on findings. Attention to detail - ensure vigilance in the analysis and arrive at right conclusions. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure and attention to detail and accuracy a necessity. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel; Intermediate VB knowledge preferred. Academic requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
