Responsibilities

- Oversee technical coordination between engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning teams.
- Review project requirements, technical submissions, shop drawings, interface designs, method statements, and construction methodologies to ensure alignment with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Conduct site reviews and coordinate with project teams to verify site readiness, structural interfaces, installation conditions, construction progress, access requirements, and work sequencing.
- Support the resolution of technical, design, construction, and interface issues arising during project execution.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, authority inspections, reliability demonstrations, and handover activities.
- Commercial & Contract Management
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, contractual obligations, and project risks to achieve project objectives and target profitability.
- Ensure timely submission and management of project documentation, progress claims, variation orders, extension of time submissions, and contractual correspondence.
- Support commercial negotiations and resolution of contractual matters where required.
- Drive project efficiencies and recovery actions to improve project performance and margins.
- Safety & Quality Management
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, LTA requirements, and company safety policies.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved quality management systems, project specifications, and relevant Singapore standards.
- Ensure compliance with project quality plans, inspection procedures, testing requirements, and documentation requirements.
- Oversee successful testing, commissioning, reliability demonstration, and handover activities to achieve contractual performance requirements.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers, site supervisors, coordinators, and project teams.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, productivity, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience within infrastructure, transportation, rail, building services, construction, vertical transportation, or related engineering industries.
