Responsibilities
- Remain logged into the EFA call center to handle inbound calls related to scheduling and rescheduling EFA tests
- Cover the workload of absent team members by coordinating tasks, such as scheduling EFA tests, and supporting the recruiting team to ensure the applicant maintains the original start date
- Provide support to the Onboarding team as needed during peak call times by setting up next day drug screen appointments, confirming driver applicants, assisting with follow-ups/move-ups, filing documents with internal departments, and processing DOT applications
- Provide support to the Driver Recruiting team by advising on driver applications and serving as a liaison between intra- and cross-functional teams
- Maintain the position closure tracker of assigned recruiting team(s), ensuring timely follow-up with applicants; in cases where the Recruiter is unavailable, proactively contact applicants to communicate the position closure and, when applicable, present alternative opportunities
- Provide coverage for Recruiters' pipelines in their absence to promote process continuity and retain candidates, including initial contact and follow-up tasks
- Monitor onboarding pipeline to identify and facilitate earlier start dates
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED with 6 months of successful performance in a Background Verification, Onboarding, or related role OR up to 1 year of Recruiting, Customer Service, Sales, or related experience, and/or military equivalent
- Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma/GED with 1 year of successful performance in a Background Verification, Onboarding, or related role
- Office and Call Center Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong recommendations from all direct managers over the past year, reflecting high levels of professionalism, teamwork, and job performance
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
- Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively
- Ability to develop trusting relationships by valuing others' concerns and contributions
