Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise FME workflows (Form/Workbench) to process large, complex datasets
- Deploy and manage automated data pipelines using FME Flow
- Deliver high-quality spatial analysis, validation, and transformation across diverse systems
- Partner with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose geospatial solutions
- Ensure data integrity and spatial accuracy, including coordinate systems and transformations
- Work across a variety of formats including geodatabases, shapefiles, and CAD integrations
- Drive best practice in geospatial ETL design, automation, and scalable solutions.
- Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree qualified (GIS, IT, Computer Science or similar) preferred; or comprehensive relevant work experience dedicated to GIS.
- Experience working in design consultancy preferred
- Capability in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining FME Form (Workbench) workflows for geospatial and data integration solutions.
- Basic knowledge of ArcPy preferred
- Practical exposure to spatial decision support workflows, such as suitability or feasibility analysis, weighted overlay analysis, and basic network tracing, particularly within urban planning, water-wastewater, or environmental contexts.
- Practical exposure to the ArcGIS ecosystem (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and/or ArcGIS Enterprise) and integration of GIS outputs into client and project workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
