Requirements

  • Proven track record in production or operations management, leading facilities with at least $25 million in annual sales. Experience in complex, custom manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Strong experience working directly with customers, managing relationships, and ensuring satisfaction with on-time and in-full delivery.
  • A trusted, transparent leader who can effectively manage transitions, inspire teams, and foster collaboration.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, TQM, and cost reduction strategies.
  • EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering or business, or in place of a degree, a minimum of 8-10 years of significant, relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years previous experience in manufacturing, including packaging, process engineering, warehousing, and assembly.
  • Minimum of 4 years in people management role, including leading across disciplinary leadership team.

Additional Information

The Plant Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for a high-volume manufacturing site located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The plant is part of the Windows & Doors business unit, employing approximately 80 employees, and produces Cascade Windows and Doors. This role is accountable for driving timely and impactful improvements to the operating environment and for delivering performance at or above expectations for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and their team. The Plant Manager will lead the execution of cross-functional strategies and plans that ensure we execute the company's manufacturing excellence roadmap. The goal of this role is to manage structured change and combine long-term thinking with near term actions and decisions. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations.
