About the role

Key Responsibility Monitor and operate critical facility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical distribution, boilers, gases, vacuum, and fire protection systems. Respond to alarms, faults, and equipment abnormalities in a timely manner. Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate escalation to maintenance, engineering, or external vendors when needed. Ensure safe and stable operation of utility systems to support site activities and production needs. Carry out shift handover with clear communication of equipment status, incidents, maintenance actions, and ongoing issues. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including equipment isolation, verification, and return-to-service checks. Follow site safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including permit-to-work and lockout/tagout requirements. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational records. Participate in emergency response activities (as Site Incident Controller) such as power loss, utility failure, leaks, or fire alarm events. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, energy efficiency, and operational performance. Respond to production feedback/ complaints with proper containment/ closure to system owners for follow up. Job Requirements Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, facilities engineering, or a related field Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments. Knowledge of building and utility systems. Basic understanding of safety and permit-to-work procedures. Able to stay calm under pressure Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
