Responsibilities

• AI Innovator: Bringing AI driven efficiency improvements to the team and helping pave the way to improve in how teams work. Being a leader in this new domain to help your team grow their skills and modernize the SDLC.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure technical decisions enforce site reliability engineering bests practices. Establish and track meaningful SLOs, develop proactive monitoring systems, ensure incidents lead to learning opportunities, and maintain data quality across your domains.
• Strategic Leadership: Connect team initiatives to company objectives. Participate in cross-functional planning, translate business strategy into actionable engineering work, and help the teams understand how their contributions advance AutoScout24's mission.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering technical leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex software products in collaborative environments.
• Proven experience integrating AI-driven solutions into daily work - such as code generation, debugging, reviews, documentation, and decision support-to improve efficiency for yourself and teams.
• Possess a proactive approach to exploring and implementing AI tools that drive innovation and streamline development processes.
• Strong experience building highly scalable public facing web based applications.
• Strong technical background with expertise in language agnostic full-stack development.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management (AWS preferred) and modern software architecture patterns.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt your approach across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience fostering inclusive team cultures that embrace diverse perspectives and working styles

• The base salary range for this position is CAD 150,000 - CAD 160,000.
