Systems Analyst - Finance & Billing Systems TIAA is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst and Developer to support our enterprise billing systems and finance technology capabilities. In this role, you will serve as a key IT resource supporting TIAA's billing platform, which leverages Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) as a SaaS solution. You will go beyond traditional systems analysis actively developing and deploying applications and services on cloud platforms, while also contributing to the building of AI-driven capabilities for finance systems. Key Responsibilities and Duties Support and maintain TIAA's Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) platform, ensuring system reliability, performance, and alignment with business requirements. Perform both analysis and hands-on development activities, including designing, building, and deploying applications and services on cloud platforms with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and finance stakeholders to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance finance system capabilities. Define system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex billing and finance information systems. Prepare flow charts, models, and procedures, and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate and propose system solutions. Analyze existing system logic within the billing ecosystem, identify inefficiencies or issues, and recommend and implement revisions. Develop and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and support ongoing operations, maintenance, and enhancements. Partner with cross-functional teams including data scientists, finance SMEs, and IT architects - to define AI solution requirements, performance standards, and system interfaces. Assist in developing end-user training sessions and demonstrations for billing and finance system features. Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and proactively troubleshoot issues. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into actionable system designs and working solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing technical documentation. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholder groups. Familiarity with SaaS platform integrations and cloud-native development best practices. Exposure to data engineering or analytical tools used in enterprise finance environments.
