City/State: Bronx, New York Grant Funded: No Department: OR - SSTP Wakefield Work Shift: Evening Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 3 PM-11:30 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS Pay Range: $48,620.00-$60,775.00 SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Instrument Room Assistant Manager has 24-hour responsibility for directing and coordinating the activities of Instrument Room Attendants engaged in preparation of sterile instruments. The Instrument Room Assistant Manager participates in the budgetary process, tracks and reports instrument expenditures. Establishes and implements auditing and management strategies to assure that instruments are available and in working condition. Maintains sterile processing records according to AORN an AAMl standards. SCHEDULE: 3 PM-11:30 PM, Mon-Fri. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: - High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate's degree is preferred. - 5 years of Sterile Processing experience or an equivalent combination of training and credentials required. - CRCST certification required. - Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. - Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects (less than I00 pounds).
