Responsibilities
- Quality Management System
- Assist in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, classification society requirements, and applicable marine regulations.
- Support document control activities, including procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Audits & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Support external audits by customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance & Inspection
- Review inspection and test plans, quality procedures, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, production, and QC inspectors to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, piping, mechanical, and electrical works for compliance with standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of QA/QC experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, marine engineering.
- Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Familiarity with marine and offshore industry standards.
- Experience with welding inspections, fabrication processes, and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of classification society requirements such as: Lloyd's Register; DNV Bureau Veritas; ABS.
- CSWIP 3.1 TWI Welding Inspector Certification preferred
- Salary: SGD3,000.00 to 3,500.00
