SMT Machine Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, Install, qualify, and maintainSMT equipment
• Perform:
• Preventive maintenance (PM)
• Corrective maintenance (CM)
• Ensure equipment performance in terms of:
• Uptime
• Availability
• Throughput
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimizedowntime
• Optimize equipment performance andutilization
• Support new equipment introduction andacceptance (FAT/SAT)
• Work closely with:
• SMT Process Engineers
• Production teams
• Maintain equipment documentation andmaintenance records
• Ensure compliance with:
• Safety standards
• ESD requirements

Requirements

• Education
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in SMT machineengineering
• Experience with high-volume SMT lines preferred
• Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with SMT equipment,including:
• Printer (solder paste printing)
• SPI (Solder Paste Inspection)
• Pick & Place machines (e.g., ASMPTSIPLACE or Panasonic NPM)
• Reflow oven
• AOI systems
• Expertise in:
• Equipment setup and calibration
• Preventive maintenance (PM)
• Troubleshooting and repair
• Knowledge of:
• Equipment performance metrics (UPH, OEE,uptime)
• Process-equipmentinteraction
• Soft Skills
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-oncapability
• Good coordination with production andprocess teams
• Ability to work under time pressure
