Requirements

ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a MRI Technologist to work a WIP position at our Newark Hospital. This position comes with a $7,500.00 sign on bonus for eligible candidates!!! Schedule: 3 out of 4 weekends weekends dayshift 0700-1930 As a MRI Technologist: Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data. Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented Performs QC and is able to digitize films Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care team Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors. Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to [neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients], including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed.
