Supervisory Inspector General

About the role

You will serve as a Deputy Inspector General in the Office of the Inspector General (005) of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying laws, rules, and regulations to execute independent, objective, and comprehensive investigations and inspections into suspected fraud, waste, mismanagement, and administrative inefficiencies; authoring coherent, high-impact reports into complex investigations and inspections, and delivering briefings tailored for senior military leadership and top-level management official; and providing strategic oversight to investigation, inspection, internal control, and audit liaison functions, while directly leading, managing, developing, and coordinating the work of subordinate program managers and civilian personnel.
