Business Analyst (Trading), Assistant VP

About the role

Job Description Act as the Trading Domain SME to understand, support and deliver strategic imperatives to meet business objectives and goals. This includes Business-IT roadmap planning and tracking to ensure good progress made in strategic initiatives. Lead solutioning effort and help define end-to-end solutions to meet the desired business objectives and/or gain competitive advantage in the industry. Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, requirements, market trends and industry best practices to influence the desired outcomes. Collaborate / Work with Product Owners and IT Teams to produce high quality project deliverables and support post-implementation issues. Stay up to date on the latest trends, regulatory changes and technology to continuously monitor the business needs and identify opportunities to innovate / enhance the products and services to clients. Role Requirement Proven product, business analysis and digital transformation experience in Trading Products & Solutions - Global Equities, Futures & Forex Markets etc. Well-versed in industry developments and trends. Strong analytical skills - able to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) - able to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Strong interpersonal skills - able to liaise with stakeholders to provide creative / alternative solutions to address business problems and generate new ideas. Strong team player - able to take ownership and deliver independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution. Experience in Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies. Experience driving digital initiatives with Business and Operations as a Scrum Master or Product Owner will be an advantage.
