About the role

The Department of Security Studies and International Affairs in the College of Arts & Sciences seeks an adjunct (part-time) faculty member to teach Critical Thinking and Analysis at the Daytona Beach, Florida campus.   • Deliver engaging and effective instruction in accordance with course syllabus.
  • Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
  • Hold regular office hours to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with department faculty and staff to ensure course quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Required Education and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the discipline they intend to teach.
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
