Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Operations

  • Project, Portfolio & Vendor Management
  • Oversee the EDI project and enhancement portfolio, including modernization initiatives.
  • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify process, automation, and technology improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and partner experience.
  • Drive adoption of modern integration patterns and a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
  • Knowledge, Education & Experience
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EDI, B2B integration, and enterprise IT development.
  • 10+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • Experience in large‑scale, high‑volume, or distribution‑focused environments is strongly preferred.
  • Technical & Integration Expertise
  • Deep expertise with EDI platforms and translators (e.g., IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway AS2).
  • Strong knowledge of EDI, XML, flat file formats, and B2B integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Linux scripting, and technical design/code reviews.
  • Experience with AS2, sFTP, VANs, and secure data transport protocols.
  • Working knowledge of API‑based integrations, microservices architecture, cloud‑native architectures, and event‑driven systems .
  • Exposure to AI‑enabled tools, with a strong willingness to adopt and responsibly leverage AI to improve EDI operations, monitoring, testing, and delivery efficiency.

Additional Information

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $150,000.00-180,000.00 CAD Job Purpose The EDI Senior Manager provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership for TD SYNNEX's EDI and integration ecosystem across the Americas. This role is accountable for the reliability, scalability, modernization, and governance of all EDI and B2B integration services that enable critical data exchange with business partners. The EDI Senior Manager leads a team of system engineers, ensures stable and secure day‑to‑day operations, drives continuous improvement, and advances modern integration capabilities-including APIs, microservices and event‑driven architectures-to support business growth and maximize trading partner value.
