Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to demonstrate or show experience which provided a high degree of attention to detail and strong communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally in writing. Demonstrated ability to analyze a wide variety of documents to ensure correctness and compliance with regulatory guidance. Should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of administrative regulations, practices, and procedures, and the ability to work in support of accounting, budget, financial, and fiscal operations. This experience should also indicate the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of this position. Knowledge of internal control principles and policies is desired. Knowledge and skill to recognize the parameters of the problems involved in assignments, to collect necessary information, establish the facts, and take and/or recommend actions based on interpretation of guidelines. Education may be substituted for experience if there are no minimally qualified candidates. Must satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
