Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and administering all phases of the Cross Country/Track & Field Programs (50%)
  • Commit to student-athlete growth and development towards academic success

  • Attend department meetings and be an active member of the Endicott Athletic Department.
  • Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3 years coaching experience at the college level.

  • Current adult CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Position Overview Under the supervision of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach of Women's Track & Field, Men's and Women's Cross-Country programs will assist in all aspects of the cross-country and track and field programs as part of the Athletics Department. These areas include, but are not limited to, recruiting, preparing training/practice plans, team travel arrangements, and competition planning and preparation. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrate a philosophy that emphasize academic priorities for student-athletes, as well as a commitment to the growth of the Endicott community. The Assistant Coach, Women's Track & Field/Men's & Women's Cross-Country will ensure an understanding and adherence to NCAA Division III principles and Endicott College's mission statement.
