About the role
As a Grade 2 Registered Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care whilst working in a team dedicated to continuous quality improvement. 4 East provides cardiac monitoring, management of intercostal drainage, temporary cardiac pacing, low dose inotropic support and care for respiratory patients. Provide holistic nursing care to patients on 4 East Liaise with patients, patient's family, medical and multidisciplinary staff as required Act as a role model and provide support to junior nursing staff Actively participate and contribute to all departmental quality improvements as required Participate in ongoing education by attend training and study days as required or requested Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum). Your Contribution Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA Experience in cardiac, respiratory or critical care nursing is desirable Exceptional interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritise activities C urrent National criminal history check, or willing to obtain Graduate Certificate or postgraduate certificate in Cardiac or Critical Care Nursing is desired, but not essential
