Job Summary Audit Senior professionals will supervise engagements and assume full responsibility for all phases of an audit including planning, control analysis and testing, substantive procedures, identify and assist in the resolution of client issues and reporting. By conducting objective diagnostic tests and analytical reviews, the Auditor is responsible for the verification of a company's financial records by following Generally Accepted Auditing Principles. Position Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities Perform all phases of an audit, including planning and risk identification, internal control review and testing, substantive audit procedures, engagement wrap up, and financial statement preparation/review Perform other attest services including compilations and reviews Research and conclude on various accounting and audit issues in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) Generate ideas for accounting process improvements and best practices for our clients Relationship Building Participate in internal networking events, collaborate and work directly with other internal colleagues and external client staff. Contribute to business expansion efforts including proposal development (scoping, budget, etc.) Supervise and develop a team of 1-2 audit staff on each engagement Firm Contributions Participate in periodic industry and service line training programs which focus on development of core competencies to facilitate your growth at the firm Opportunities to be involved in various internal practice initiatives Other duties as assigned Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required CA and/or US CPA preferred with the expectation that US CPA will be obtained
