QAD Business Consultant - Finance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-15+ years of finance, QAD ERP, or consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in core finance functions, including:
• Cost Accounting & Product Costing
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Fixed Assets
• General Ledger & Financial Reporting
• Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
• Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or product-based environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with executive-level stakeholders preferred.

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who combines strong functional accounting knowledge with QAD ERP experience and enjoys partnering with clients to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational performance. We are open to a range of experience levels and will scope responsibilities based on demonstrated expertise and leadership capability. The QAD Finance Business Consultant partners with clients to analyze financial operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements within QAD ERP environments. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting initiatives while helping organizations optimize performance and maintain compliance. Depending on experience, you may lead client engagements, guide transformation initiatives, and serve as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
