Responsibilities

  • Lead Pokémon GO's European social media strategy and execution, managing day-to-day content planning, publishing, and performance tracking for key regional channels.

  • Contribute to global social workstreams, including excluding creative deliverables to bring to life Pokémon GO's global creative strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or youth culture in European markets.
  • Proven experience marketing to Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences, with an understanding of emerging digital behaviors, fandom dynamics, and platform ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with proven ability to develop short-form video strategies that drive engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with regional teams to localize and scale content across multiple markets.
  • Familiarity working with licensors on cross-brand creative reviews and approvals, ensuring brand consistency and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication across teams and partners.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Pokémon GO, Pokémon, or mobile game marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
