Junior AI Developer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered applications and automation solutions to support business operations
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and data pipelines to support AI initiatives and improve process efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and identify opportunities where AI can create value
• Support the development and integration of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions
• Prepare, analyse, and manage datasets for AI and machine learning applications
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of AI applications, recommending enhancements where appropriate
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose innovative solutions relevant to the shipping and maritime industry
• Prepare technical documentation and provide user support and training where required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Up to 2 years of experience in software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a related field; fresh graduates with strong project experience are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software development principles and best practices
• Exposure to AI frameworks, machine learning concepts, APIs, or Generative AI technologies would be advantageous
• Basic understanding of databases, data analytics, and cloud technologies is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in emerging technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset.
