As a Trading Support Agent you'll be supporting the delivery of a wide array of tasks to ensure all elements of trading are performed with optimal efficiency and profitability, covering as a reliable second line of support to our customer service and ultimately ensure that all Trading related queries escalated by our internal and external partners are resolved. This will help us excel at providing super class customer experience to stay ahead of the game.

Responsibilities

  • As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist various internal & external departments in relation to sportsbook related escalations
  • Directly or indirectly assist with Trading related processes and duties
  • Completion of extra tasks relating to Trading as assigned by managers during shift
  • Update databases that will assist with trading
  • Develop trading skills-set by working closely with members of the Trading dept.
  • Keep up to date with sporting activity by following sports events and new updates
  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule
  • Maintain high level of awareness on internal policies, systems and procedures

  • Essential skills you'll bring to the table
  • The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Strong knowledge of all sports and understanding of Sports betting terms/types
  • Highly numerate
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment
  • Desirable skills you've got up your sleeve
  • It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Exposure to Sportsbook/Trading environment
  • Sports fanatic with a keen interest in sporting data and analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of all the Betway Brands and systems
