Seafood Preparer Supervisor Job Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the seafood preparation team to ensure daily production targets are achieved. Prepare, clean, gut, scale, fillet, portion, and pack a wide variety of seafood products. Handle live and frozen seafood, including shellfish, fish, and other seafood products. Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas, equipment, and cold rooms throughout the shift. Monitor product quality and minimize wastage. Train and supervise junior staff on seafood preparation techniques and workplace safety. Perform inventory checks, stock rotation, and receiving of seafood deliveries. Work in cold, wet, and slippery environments for extended periods. Lift and carry seafood cartons weighing up to 25kg on a regular basis. Stand for long hours and perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift. Be prepared to work early morning shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when operationally required. Assist with any other operational duties assigned by management.
