About the role
(A) Job Summary: The Tunnel Construction Engineer produces work plan and supervises the bored tunnelling work to deliver the product to the requirement of the project. He/she is expected to work well with the teammates to achieve the shared goals. Working in shifts (Day/Night) will be required. (B) Essential Job Functions: The Tunnel Construction Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Provide planning of tunnelling operation from safety, quality, and productivity viewpoint. Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key. Ensure the work is done in compliant with the protocol established for the project. Coordinate with project stakeholders. Any ad-hoc task that assigned by the manager. Report to Tunnel Manager / Deputy Tunnel Manager / Sr Tunnel Engineer. (C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience: Recognized diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering. Minimum 8 years of TBM bored tunnelling experience Large diameter (over 10m diameter) bored tunnelling experience. Willing to work on rotating shifts.
