About the role
As Analyst Supply Planning (MRP), you will be responsible for the Raw and Packaging Material inventory management activities within assigned cluster. Through close collaboration with key supply chain functions (including procurement, logistics, quality and manufacturing sites).
Responsibilities
- You will monitor performances and course correct when needed, communicating plans with relevant stakeholders and will manage product changes related to own managed portfolio of SKUs.
- Minimize Slow moving and obsolete materials and minimize inventory write-offs during product transitions for the items being managed.
- Determines policies, reviews and optimizes safety stock and inventory levels and parameters are set in the entire network from plant to distribution center (e.g. reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization)
- Maintain report and documentation related to Material Planning
- Reporting to the Associate Manager Supply Planning, this is an exciting opportunity for Supply Chain professionals who have a desire to develop their career in Supply Planning in a regional role.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
- Graduate of Economics or any Engineering degree (open to fresh graduates)
- 2 years of experience working in supply or similar function preferably from a multinational or multicultural environment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (esp. Excel - Pivot, VLOOKUP, IF's, etc.)
- System Knowledge [SAP - ECC/APO]
- Full understanding of total chain of planning processes, distribution capabilities within the responsible network and inventory policies and methodologies
- Strong customer orientation and ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
- Drive for results and quality oriented
- Strong Team Player with excellent communication skills
- Pro-active, persuasive and flexible attitude
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Permanent Full-time employment
- Onsite work setup; Day shift; 1x week work-from-home after three months
- This role is not eligible for relocation
