Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks or lorries to deliver and collect goods, materials, or equipment according to schedule.
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of items during transport.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle (oil, fuel, tyres, brakes, lights).
• Follow all road safety and traffic regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and documentation.
• Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle.
• Coordinate with warehouse or logistics staff for loading, scheduling, and route planning.
• Adhere to company safety and operational procedures.
• Assist in general logistics or site duties when required.

Requirements

• Valid Class 4 / Class 5 Singapore Driving Licence (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant truck or lorry driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local routes, delivery procedures, and road regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading activities.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Basic communication and record-keeping skills.
