He/She will undertake the key responsibility of media relations and internal communications initiatives and campaigns to create resonance with target audiences in key markets, thereby attracting them to our school. Core Function: To strengthen global awareness and mindshare of NUS Business School through targeted media outreach and strategic storytelling that attract prospective students, partners, and stakeholders across key markets. Key responsibilities include: Media Relations & PR Content Distribution Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international journalists, editors, and media outlets. Develop and distribute media releases, media advisories, and thought leadership content. Pitch story ideas and secure media coverage that aligns with brand messaging. Track media coverage and provide detailed reports and insights. Crisis Communication Support Support the creation and implementation of crisis communication plans. Draft holding statements, FAQs, and media responses under guidance. Monitor public sentiment and media narratives to inform response strategies. Brand & Social Media Managemen t Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social channels Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, algorithms, formats, and tools Co-ordinate, film and edit reels, short videos to keep our presence fresh and relevant Schedule and publish posts using social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, scheduling platforms) Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally to build community and handle queries Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower growth, click through rates, leads, and conversions Prepare regular reports and translate insights into action plans to optimise campaigns and content Other functions: Support the annual NUS Business School Commencement Ceremony under guidance.
