Operations Executive

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inbound warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow and timely processing of goods
• Manage inbound activities including receiving goods, processing returns, conducting inspections, and updating warehouse management systems accurately
• Lead and coordinate the inbound team to achieve operational efficiency and meet service standards consistently
• Monitor operational performance against KPIs and implement targeted improvements to enhance productivity
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external parties to resolve inventory discrepancies, returns issues, and operational inquiries promptly
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, exceptional cases, and ad-hoc operational issues to maintain inventory accuracy
• Prepare and maintain monthly operational and performance reports for management review to support data-driven decisions
• Ensure accurate documentation, filing, and record management for easy retrieval and audit compliance
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and enforce workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Support manpower planning, staff training, and shift operations to maintain team readiness and operational continuity
• Required competencies and certifications
• Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse processes to support efficient operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems to manage data and workflows effectively
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Strong organisational skills demonstrated by managing multiple warehouse tasks efficiently
• Effective problem-solving skills applied to resolve operational issues promptly
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet operational demands
• Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
