Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: World Vision Mongolia is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Project Manager for a Disaster Risk Reduction project funded by the World Vision US Rise Fund. This recruitment is being conducted under a pre-award condition. Contract Duration: This is a fixed-term assignment expected to run for 12 months, tentatively from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027, subject to project approval. The Project Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership, coordination, and management of the RISE Fund Pillar 1 project, ensuring the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Anticipatory Action, Emergency Preparedness, and Rapid Response interventions. The position is responsible for delivering project objectives and results in compliance with donor requirements, World Vision policies, quality standards, and accountability commitments. The Project Manager will lead project implementation in close collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), provincial and local government authorities, humanitarian partners, communities, and other key stakeholders to strengthen disaster preparedness, resilience, and response capacities. The position will oversee community-based DRR initiatives, anticipatory action mechanisms, readiness investments, emergency response interventions, and crisis modifier activities while ensuring effective project planning, budget management, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, safeguarding, GEDSI integration, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
