About the role

You will serve as a Manager in the Contracts Department of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION. You will serve as Contracts Deputy Department Head. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-06 is equivalent to GS-14/15. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a contracting officer or contract specialist overseeing complex service contracts, negotiating competitive and sole source procurements, or awarding, administering or settling termination of contracts to resolve critical problems that impact personnel and fleet readiness.
