Job Description: I. Position Summary: As a Neuropsychologist Clinician Scientist, the employee functions in both domains of treating patients in the clinic and leading scientific research projects to investigate therapeutic modalities. As a Clinician, the employee provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment for patients suffering from cognitive and behavioral problems at the Deanna and Sidney Wolk Center for Memory Health, Hebrew SeniorLife, as well as provides training for technicians, quality control and overall oversight of the clinical noninvasive brain stimulation program offered through the Wolk Center. As a Scientist, the employee oversees the early development and design of clinical research programs focused on developing novel, impactful and scalable therapeutic approaches to promote health span. The employee also advances the use of neuromodulation to drive better patient outcomes. The employee oversees the entire translational research spectrum, including hypothesis-generating research, early feasibility studies, randomized controlled and pivotal trials. The employee has direct influence over multiple research domains to build a strong evidence generation engine that translates results to the clinic. II. Core Competencies: Ability to diagnose and treat neuropsychological conditions in adult and geriatric patients using current evidence-based techniques. Ability to intervene in and manage patients in psychological crisis. Experience applying and supervising transcranial magnetic stimulation and transcranial electrical stimulation sessions in clinical, on- and off-label, programs. Experience training and assessing competencies of non-invasive brain stimulation technicians. Ability to coordinate and supervise clinical noninvasive brain stimulation program. Experience leveraging and integrating novel mobile technologies in the promotion of cognitive wellbeing and healthy aging. Ability to provide education on neuropsychological concepts and neuromodulation therapeutic approaches to patients, staff, and families at level appropriate to these groups respectively. Ability to work effectively within a team, group and across the organization to accomplish tasks and achieve desired results. III. Position Responsibilities: Provides consultation as requested in the outpatient settings. Provides scientific and clinical leadership. Assess cognitive functioning in various forms of dementing diseases (Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Frontal-Temporal dementia etc.) Conduct neuropsychological evaluations such as assessments of intelligence, attention, concentration, sensorimotor function, language, learning, and short and long-term memory, abstract reasoning, executive functioning, motor skills, and other cognitive functions. Assessment of mood (e.g., depression, anxiety, apathy, hopelessness, stigma, self-esteem etc.), quality of life and activities of daily living (ADL). Offer rehabilitation strategies to assist with daily living tasks. For example, establish neurobehavioral baseline measures for monitoring disease progression. Provide education or counseling to individuals with brain damage and their families. The employee may help families try to understand how their loved one's environment can be altered to improve daily functioning. Write detailed clinical neuropsychological reports, using data from psychological or neuropsychological tests, neuroimaging and other diagnostic medical procedures, self-report measures, rating scal
