Responsibilities
- Work with Supervisor to arrange and complete packaging of finished products based on shipping schedule
- Ensure packages are labeled accurately and properly and packed according to regulatory requirements
- Complete order picking with accuracy from warehouse to fulfil customer orders
- Perform loading of cargoes at collection points for transporters' collection
- Prepare shipping documents and check and record all items loaded for shipment
- Ensure warehouses are maintained in good condition and stock & packaging materials are stored at appropriate locations
- Monitor and replenish packaging materials
- Report any incidents, accidents or near misses during packaging as well as non-compliance or issues with external service providers during cargoes handling
- Provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency in packaging process
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Business or other related discipline with 1 to 2 years with relevant experience in handling liquid materials, chemicals and shipment preferred
- Candidates with NITEC qualification and relevant experience may be considered
- Those with forklift license will be highly advantageous
- Intermediate proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
- Independent, resourceful and highly self-motivated
- Possess good presentation skills
- Job is physically demanding and requires carrying heavy items at times
- Willing to work at Tuas South
