About the role
As a Creative Director, you'll set the creative vision for our Cairo studio, spearhead client relationships across the Gulf, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of creative professionals to produce award-worthy, integrated work for a global digital marketing powerhouse. Responsibilities
- Define and champion the overall creative vision, strategic direction, and quality bar for the Cairo studio.
- Lead the ideation, development, and execution of integrated creative campaigns across brand, digital, social, and production disciplines.
- Manage , mentor, and inspire a team of 20+ creatives, including art directors, copywriters, designers, and content specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance studio culture that balances ambition with operational rigour.
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with senior clients across the Gulf region.
- Spearhead and win new creative pitches, from initial strategic framing and creative concepting through to final presentation delivery.
- Review and provide constructive, decisive creative direction across multiple concurrent projects.
- Partner with producers and project managers to maintain quality standards while meeting timeline and budget requirements.
- Champion the integration of new technologies, including AI-powered creative tools, into the studio's workflow.
- Stay ahead of cultural trends, platform innovations, and consumer behaviours relevant to MEA audiences.
- Lead talent recruitment, onboarding, and professional development within the creative department.
- About You
- The essentials:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in creative direction within a digital agency, production company, or in-house creative studio, with at least 5 years of direct experience working with GCC clients.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Gulf market culture, consumer sensibilities, and brand expectations.
- Pitch Winner: Proven track record of leading and winning new business pitches, from brief to final presentation.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary creative teams (art direction, copywriting, graphic and motion design).
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing integrated campaign work across digital, social, brand, and production disciplines.
- Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate and defend creative decisions with clarity and confidence.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in leading creative tools and familiarity with emerging AI-powered creative technologies.
- Not a must, but a plus:
- Experience working with major brands in specific key sectors such as FMCG, financial services, or government.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Arts, or a related discipline.
