The scope may include stablecoin issuance, third‑party stablecoin integration, and/or consumption of stablecoin rails for payments and settlement, depending on business strategy. /p> p> br> /p> p>The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise architecture experience, hands‑on understanding of blockchain and stablecoin technology stacks, and demonstrated ability to navigate regulatory, risk, and operational scrutiny typical of large financial institutions. /p> p> br> /p> p> strong>Role & Responsibility: /strong> /p> p> strong>Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success /strong> /p> p> br> /p> p> strong>Enterprise Architecture Leadership /strong> /p> ul> li>Define and maintain target‑state and transitional architectures for digital asset and stablecoin capabilities across the enterprise. /li> li>Establish reference architectures, standards, and architectural guardrails for blockchain and stablecoin usage. /li> li>Review and govern solution designs involving digital assets through architecture review boards and SDLC processes. /li> li>Drive architectural clarity across lines of business, preventing fragmented or ad‑hoc crypto implementations. /li> /ul> p> br> /p> p> strong>Stablecoin & Digital Asset Architecture /strong> /p> ul> li>Design end‑to‑end architectures for stablecoin platforms, including: /li> li>On‑chain smart contracts and token models /li> li>Off‑chain orchestration, ledgering, and reconciliation /li> li>Wallet and custody integration /li> li>Mint, burn, redemption, and settlement flows /li> li>Define integration patterns between blockchain platforms and: /li> li>Core banking and general ledger systems /li> li>Payments rails (ACH, Fedwire, RTP, internal book transfer) /li> li>Liquidity management and treasury systems /li> li>Guide architectural decisions across public, permissioned, and hybrid blockchain models. /li> /ul> p> br> /p> p> strong>Crypto / Stablecoin Technology Stack /strong> /p> ul> li>Provide architectural leadership across the full digital asset stack, including: /li> li>Blockchain networks (e.g., EVM‑based public or permissioned networks, Layer‑2s) /li> li>Token standards and permissioning models (e.g., ERC‑20, permissioned tokens) /li> li>Smart contract controls (upgradeability, pause/blacklist, role‑based access) /li> li>Middleware for transaction monitoring, indexing, and off‑chain synchronization /li> li>API and event‑driven integration patterns /li> li>Cloud‑native platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization, and secure key management /li> /ul> p> br> /p> p> strong>Security, Risk, and Compliance /strong> /p> ul> li>Embed bank‑grade security controls into all digital asset architectures, including: /li> li>Private key lifecycle management and HSM integration /li> li>Segregation of duties, dual control, and transaction signing policies /li> li>Wallet tiering strategies (hot/warm/cold) /li> li>Resilience, failover, and incident response for on‑chain and off‑chain components /li> li>Ensure architectures align with U.S. banking regulatory expectations, including: /li> li>BSA/AML and OFAC sanctions enforcement /li> li>Travel Rule compliance /li> li>NYDFS cybersecurity requirements /li> li>Operational resilience, auditability, and examiner transparency /li> li>Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams to support approvals and examinations. /li> /ul> p> br> /p> p> strong>Strategic Advisory & Collaboration /strong> /p> ul> li>Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders on digital asset strategy. /li> li>Evaluate vendors, custodians, analytics providers, and blockchain platforms through an enterprise and risk lens. /li> li>Assess emerging technologies (e.g., tokenized deposits, permissioned DeFi constructs, CBDC pilots) and provide clear recommendations on applicability and risk. /li> /ul> p> strong> /strong> /p> p> strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: /strong> /p> ul> li>Education: Bachelor s/master s in computer science, Engineering, or related field. /li>
