Job Title : Assembly & Test Technicians Work Schedule: Onsite - Tewkesbury, GBR Moog is recruiting Assembly & Test Technicians to join our team at our modern manufacturing facility in Tewkesbury, supporting our Commercial Aircraft Group. This is a hands-on, precision role working on high-spec aerospace products. You'll be responsible for carrying out detailed assembly and testing operations, working to tight tolerances and strict quality standards. Your day-to-day will include cleaning components ready for assembly, building and testing products, fault finding and diagnosing issues, disassembling units for rework, and carrying out processes such as flow matching, wire locking, labelling, and finishing. You'll be working in a clean, modern, well-organised environment with the right tools and support to do the job properly. The team is experienced, straightforward, and takes real pride in what they produce. It's a culture built around quality, accountability, and doing things properly-where people are trusted to take ownership and good work is recognised. This role involves detailed assembly work. We have Afternoons or a Night shift available (These roles provide a shift allowance in addition to base salary). Key Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar production/assembly role (aerospace or comparable high-spec industry preferred) Experience in medical device assembly or other highly regulated, fine-detail environments would be highly advantageous Strong hands-on ability with hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment Experience working to approved documentation and accurately recording data High attention to detail with the ability to self-inspect work Diagnostic and fault-finding experience Understanding of servo valve operation is beneficial Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above is preferred Ability to read and work from technical drawings is desirable Working Hours (PM Shift) Monday & Tuesday: 2:00pm - 9:15pm, Wednesday & Thursday: 2:00pm - 9:30pm and Friday: 11:30am - 7:30pm Working Hours (Night Shift) Monday and Tuesday 8.45pm to 6.15am, Wednesday working from 9pm to 6.15am, Thursday 9.15pm to 6.30am Stamp Holder & Progression This is a stamp holder role. All technicians are trained and supported to achieve stamp holder status , giving you responsibility for the quality of your own work. There is a clear structure in place to get you there, with support from experienced team leaders and a defined training pathway. Moog offers genuine career progression.
