JOB SUMMARY ONEOK is seeking a Plant Operator who will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of the Sage Creek Plant, ensuring equipment and processes run efficiently to meet continuous production demands. This role supports plant operations that run 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring operators to monitor systems, assist with troubleshooting compressors and pumps, and help maintain overall plant performance. The Plant Operator will collaborate closely with experienced operations team members to execute daily responsibilities and maintain operational continuity. Operators work a 7-days-on / 7-days-off schedule and rotate between Days (5 a.m. - 5 p.m.), Mids (11 a.m. - 11 p.m.) and Nights (5 p.m. - 5 a.m.), and must be adaptable to varying shifts and conditions, including travel during inclement weather. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability, with an emphasis on learning and developing technical skills on the job. While prior industry experience is not required, candidates should demonstrate a willingness to be trained and grow within the role. Basic computer skills, such as familiarity with Excel, are beneficial. This role is based at the Sage Creek Plant in Glenrock, Wyoming, and is an on-site position. Candidates may reside in nearby communities such as Casper or Douglas. This position may be considered at an Associate ($30.28 - $45.67/hour) or Intermediate ($33.65 - $50.96/hour) level based on experience. Job Profile Summary Performs activities related to operation and maintenance of oil and gas liquid processing facilities under supervision. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Operate and maintain processing plant equipment including, but not limited to: Compressors Motors Engines Cooling equipment Auxiliary units Pumps Turbines Treating systems Monitor and control equipment operating conditions Start, stop, and operate equipment Prepare equipment for maintenance activities including, but not limited to: Permitting Lock out tag out Decommissioning Assist mechanics and others in performing repairs to equipment Identify and report any safety and/or environmental concerns Compile and/or maintain information such as time sheets, work logs, safety/environmental forms, and equipment maintenance and repair records Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage. Work Experience Experience reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, work logs, dials, gauges, charts, procedures, and operational and repair manuals Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of: compressor station, storage field, gathering field, and/or processing plant operations Knowledge of: computers.
