Responsibilities
- Support the daily operation of In-Room Dining, including service execution, scheduling, opening and closing duties, payroll support, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Supervise and support the In-Room Dining team to ensure prompt, professional, and courteous food and beverage service for all room service orders and suite set-ups.
- Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, cleanliness, sanitation, and health & safety compliance.
- Assist in monitoring departmental productivity, labor costs, revenues, and operational expenses to support financial objectives.
- Support the implementation and adherence of departmental standards, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist with colleague training, coaching, performance development, and fostering positive working relationships within the department.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and maintain effective communication with Culinary and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Support promotional, merchandising, menu, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
- Participate in regular operational and cleanliness inspections to ensure compliance with hotel and health standards.
- Maintain a visible floor presence during service periods and lead by example through hands-on operational support.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, equipment, fixtures, and furniture to ensure operational readiness and proper maintenance.
- Handle guest reservations, special requests, and service recovery situations with professionalism and care.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, monthly reporting, sales tracking, and achievement of operational goals and service metrics.
- Support departmental participation in hotel environmental and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of the outlet's POS system and ensure hotel standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
- Attend meetings as required and perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Must be MS Word, Excel and E-mail literate
- Understand and be committed to the health and safety issues in the workplace
- Previous management experience in a food and beverage setting, particularly in a restaurant
- Must be a highly motivated individual who is able to achieve results with minimal supervision
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a supervisory/management position in a union environment
- Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

- The salary range for this position is $60,960- 70,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience and/or work location
