Responsibilities

  • Installs, tests, and repairs fire alarm, area of refuge, BDA/DAS, or similar systems.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and false alarms.

Has a good technical knowledge and ability to communicate effectively to understand problems and offer solutions. Technician is customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers. This position is fire alarm focused and may include any of the following: Fire Alarm (Notifier, Gamewell FCI, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, Potter, Fike, EST, Siemens, AutoCall, Mircom); Area of Refuge (Honeywell, Rath, Talkaphone, Cornell); BDA (Bi-Directional Antenna systems); DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems).
