About the role

The Creative Artwork Production Manager (12-month fixed term contract) leads the artwork production team in delivering high-quality creative assets across all print channels and touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: Artwork Production Management Oversee all aspects of artwork production across print, point-of-sale, and multi-channel campaigns Manage artwork production workflows, timelines, and resources to ensure on time delivery of all creative assets. Allocates and brief work across the artwork team based on skills, capacity, and project priorities Proactively chase and secure artwork briefs ahead of scheduled artwork start dates, ensuring the team has everything they need to hit the ground running without delays Lead daily production meetings to review progress, priorities, and blocker. Hold the artworkers accountable to agreed timelines and ensuring delivery commitments are meet Maintain and update artwork project boards on Monday.com , and project trackers, ensuring all tasks, timelines, and status updates are current. Technical Excellence & Quality Assurance Manage the QC process, ensuring final artwork is reviewed for technical accuracy, brand compliance, and production readiness before client sign off Ensure all artwork meets technical specifications and output requirements, coordinating with the team to resolve issues before production Stay ahead of emerging technologies, software updates, and industry best practices, bringing innovation and efficiency to the team If required, act as technical liaison with printers and suppliers, resolving production challenges quickly and effectively Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop the artwork team, fostering a collaborative, high performance culture where people are motivated to do their best work and embrace change Coach team members through regular 1-1's, performance reviews, and career development discussions, setting clear objectives and driving continuous improvement Identify skills gaps and coordinate training on new software, techniques, and production methods, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice across the wider ITG team Onboard and integrate new team members (permanent, PAUG and freelance) effectively Reporting Management Provide monthly performance data on artwork delivery volumes, right-first-time rates, and turnaround times to measure team effectiveness Feature a monthly project spotlight in reporting that showcases the artwork team's expertise, innovation, and delivery excellence, demonstrating the value they bring to the client Outstanding attention to detail with uncompromising quality standards Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to translate technical concepts Problem solving mindset with creative approaches to production challenges Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Diplomatic and collaborative approach to stakeholder management Passion for design excellence balanced with commercial and practical awareness Proactive and solutions oriented mindset with ownership mentality Adaptability and resilience in dynamic, fast changing environments Perks at ITG - alongside a competitive salary, here's what you can look forward to: Time off that works for you - 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, a paid Wellbeing Day, flexible bank holidays to honour cultural or religious observances, and the option to buy or carry over up to 5 extra days.
