The Hiring range for this position is: Traffic Signals Tech:$25.76 - $32.20/Hourly Traffic Signals Tech II: $27.57 - $34.46/Hourly Traffic Signals Tech III: $29.50 - $36.87/Hourly Candidates must reside in Colorado at the time of hire. This job announcement is for collecting candidate applications for current and future Traffic Signals Technician I-III positions. The City of Aurora is pleased to offer: Up to $1,000 annual bonus for maintaining your CDL (if eligibility criteria is met). $250.00 Boot allowance annually (steel toe or other safety toe boots are required). Assists in performing skilled maintenance and construction tasks including the installation and testing of traffic signal control equipment. Operates diagnostic equipment. Maintains various records such as equipment, time, supplies, and parts inventory. Assists in training other employees in routine maintenance tasks. Assists other maintenance groups (such as signs and markings and streets) as needed Traffic Signals Tech II: Operates or uses a variety of tools and equipment related to traffic control maintenance function. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and makes minor repairs of traffic control equipment. Coordinates and schedules routine maintenance activities.
