Digital Systems Engineer

About the role

As part of our Digital Team, you'll play a hands-on role in developing and maintaining our CRM, digital product stack, integrations, and automations - ensuring our systems are reliable, user-friendly, and impactful every day. 💻⚡ 🔧 Key Responsibilities 🏗️ Design, Build & Improve Internal Systems ⚙️ Customise and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM 🔗 Build and maintain integrations using APIs ☁️ Develop automations and backend services (e.g. Azure Functions) 📈 Improve system reliability, performance, and data quality 📦 Own Internal Digital Products 🤝 Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand user needs 🧠 Turn requirements into smart, scalable technical solutions 🚀 Deliver improvements iteratively and measure their impact ⚖️ Balance quick wins with long-term system enhancements 🛠️ Support & Enable Colleagues 🆘 Act as an escalation point for technical issues 🔍 Investigate and resolve problems efficiently 📚 Provide training, documentation, and guidance to empower teams 🌐 Contribute to the Wider Digital Team 🧩 Help shape technical standards and ways of working 🤝 Share knowledge and support colleagues across the team 💡 Spot opportunities where digital tools can drive meaningful improvements 💻 Experience designing and maintaining internal digital systems 🔗 Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows 🤝 Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical users and stakeholders 🧠 A pragmatic, user-focused approach to building digital tools 👨💻 Strong programming experience Whilst we encourage applications from all nationalities, Assystem within the UK are subject to security and export control restrictions due to the nature of work to be undertaken.
