Responsibilities
- There are four Project Officers needed with work bases and corresponding areas, as follows:
- Tacloban, Leyte - entire Province of Leyte
- Borongan, Eastern Samar - entire province of Eastern Samar
- Catbalogan, Samar - entire Province of Samar
- Catarman, Northern Samar - entire Province of Northern Samar
- Lead the field operations in each field offices including implementation and encouraging teamwork in the field.
- Under the supervision of the Project Manager, support overall project leadership and management in the field team while ensuring compliance with KOICA requirements and regulations, Government of the Philippines protocols and World Vision policies and procedures.
- Liaise with partners, local government institutions, civil society organizations and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and facilitate monitoring and reporting of project objectives and achievements and oversee the overall activities in the field.
- Support to produce the annual work-plans. monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports, final project reports, and project activity updates and other project-related communication and reporting materials in accordance with the KOICA deadlines and guidelines.
- Supervise facilitators based on their roles and responsibilities. Lead each field team. In-charge of conducting day-to-day activities effecting appropriate accountancy and budget, with aim to ensure appropriate use of resources.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in public health, business administration, or other field directly related to the maternal and child health and nutrition.
- Training on maternal, infant and young child health and nutrition preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience related to implementation of programs in Field operation.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in health and nutrition, maternal/infant/child health, healthcare systems strengthening, health governance. Experiences in MNCH programme highly preferred.
- Proven performance and ability in Field Operation.
- Field operation experience in Eastern Visayas.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain interpersonal and professional relationships with key stakeholders such as Government officials, NGOs, and CSOs.
- Proven ability to manage technical assistance teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and report writing skills.
