About the role
We are seeking a Server Delivery Specialist to join our IT operations team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain delivery data accuracy, support server deployment processes, handle first-level system exceptions, and coordinate operational activities across multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Maintain delivery data accuracy by interacting with delivery platforms and ensuring all delivery-related information is current and up to date
- Act as the first-tier handler for system exceptions that require human intervention, escalating where necessary
- Coordinate event responses for power over-subscription incidents at the rack or row level, working with business owners to arrange server relocation within defined time windows
- Manage and coordinate the execution of server relocation tasks, including preparing approval documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and arranging physical delivery with vendors
- Track and analyze long-tail server delivery statuses, flagging servers for long-term improvement and retrospective review
- Manage accessories inventory (e.g., AOC cables, CAT5, racks, RPDUs, side panels),monitor safety stock levels, and follow up on orders and delivery status
- Perform data validation, cleaning, and correction across data centre records including devices, racks, delivery behaviors, and events
- Support IPIO operations for offsite activities
- Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (reading and writing) to support effective communication with local teams and client teams based in China
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data tracking and reporting (e.g., filtering, formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated reliability and accountability in handling operational tasks
- Core Competencies
- Good execution skills with the ability to follow and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills across internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to prioritise and manage concurrent operational tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
