About the role

Greets and welcomes patients, guests, and visitors. Maintains customer service work environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures that inquiries and requests are addressed in a friendly and responsive manner. Anticipates the needs of patients, guests, and visitors and takes proactive measures to ensure their satisfaction. Demonstrates knowledge of department locations and directs guests using facility maps or other aids to appropriate locations. Responds immediately to guest inquiries. Collaborates with security personnel on a continuous basis to provide a hospitable, welcoming and safe environment. Maintains awareness of current visitor restrictions and screens visitors appropriately. Greets governmental surveyors and notifies Director and Manager of Governmental Affairs of their presence. Checks mail twice a week and routes patient mail appropriately. Presents a professional image at all times. Maintains a moderate noise level. Maintains a neat and orderly front desk for a positive first impression. Adheres to wearing appropriate attire and maintenance. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: One-year previous customer service experience.
