Lead IT Specialist (sysanalysis)

About the role

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for Analyze business processes, recommend policy and workflow improvements, and document functional requirements. Coordinate with stakeholders across organizational levels to implement solutions, while leading and mentoring team members. Monitor project milestones and prepare reports and briefings to support management decision-making. You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Analyzing business processes and operational requirements; identifying and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, and workflows; gathering, evaluating, and documenting functional requirements; coordinating with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels to resolve issues and implement solutions; leading or mentoring team members on project assignments; monitoring project milestones, deliverables, and performance measures; and preparing reports, briefings, or recommendations for management decision-making. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
